Greetings Fellow Travelers … I'm confident that at one time we've all wondered what it would be like to be famous. And why not?

We see the paparazzi flocking around celebrities like Sandra Bullock, Gerard Butler and such. Without raising your hands , how many of you have faithfully watched the Academy Awards? The Grammys? Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards?

I'm sure there is a whole new set of skills needed to handle fame and fortune. Although being famous is not my goal, I feel that I need to be ready for it, just in case.

And so should you. You know that hobnobbing with John Travolta and Harrison Ford, either of which would make a wonderful choice for the lead actor in my next book, should it become a movie, has popped up in a daydream or two. Fame and celebrity is its own world.

So, what if your book or story was made into a movie or TV show? Wouldn't that be GREAT?

The problem is, are you ready for it? If you were given the chance to have your own show, would you be able to come up with an appropriate theme song?

Me, I'm not going to wait until the last minute. I have one now.

The lyrics are below. It's set to the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies."

Theme Song for the Hit TV Show, "Reality Man."

Come-uh listen to a story 'bout a man named Ken

Sittin' at his desk tryin' ah 'member where he's been

And then al-a-sudden his mind throws out a spark,

and blows ever' fuse and he's sittin in the dark!

Lights out, that is- ever' one- dark as night.

But the next thing you know, the keyboard comes alive,

The room is all lit up and depression takes a dive,

Words are a-flyin' and the world begins to change,

cause people ever' where all embrace the art of Strange!

Up is left, down is Tuesday,

Y'all come back now, Ya here?

Well, I'm ready to sign some big-dollar contracts, don't you think?

Nicely done. There isn't enough liquor on the planet for me to want the life of a celebrity, yet that shouldn't stop Reality Man. Go for it!
