Greetings Fellow Travelers ...
We as writers never tire of seeing our name in print, even if the "print" is cast in light from a monitor. And that may be an even bigger draw!
I too, along with such esteemed writers as Mike Fak, have indeed "Googled" my name to see what pops up.
Most of it is stuff from SearchWarp. Some of it is not.
For instance, my name is shared with someone high up in the Department of Labor. I have not probed too far to see exactly where his powers lie as I may not want that info in my brain. But, I am sure he is a stand up guy who is loyal and deserving of the highest esteem from our president and all who live in the USA.
Ahem ...
Just a few minutes ago I found a transcript from what I guess was a trial of some sort, dealing with counterfeit currency. Secret Agent Kenneth McCreless was a key witness and participant in the bust.
Now, before you begin to fear or praise me let me say- That was not me.
No, really.
If it were me I would be completely upfront with you as you are family and families don't lie to each other.
For The Record
Those of you who over the years have suspected me of having multiple personalities can just knock it off right now. I would never, even if I DID have more than one persona, work for the government.
Or would I?

More commentsKen,After a 3 month sabbatical, I am back and yours is the 1st article I've read in same amount of time. Once again, you made me laugh. Thanks for a jolly --NancyI've missed you, Nancy, is everything allright?I am honored that you chose my article to make your landing, very honored.
Bro-Bro, this is your new name :-) Very fun read - and just so you know, there are many Teresa Ortiz's out there that scare me :-)Blessings to you! TSis, when I was small I had an imaginary friend named Johnny. One day I came running into the house crying because Johnny had "died."Now THAT'S scary!Thank you so much for the support.
Great piece, thanks for the laugh!Thank you, Steve. It's very much appreciated.
hi ken, with technology today, it's pretty scary to google or ask jeeves your name, and have it start popping up all over.scary, but pride filled, since, as you said, most are about articles on searchwarp.and i, too, consider searchwarp to be family.the help and encouragement and prayers i have received through some wonderful people, has been greatly appreciated.thanks for sharing,my best to you, sueSW is a family, (I wonder if Bruce had any idea what he and Jean were creating!) and I am glad that my "family" is so accepting of a wing nut like myself.p.s. I am SO sorry. I seem to have passed over your comment. I assure you it was absolutely un-intentional.
Ken, you made me laugh! I am among those who have self-Googled and use Google for pretty much everything. The phone book? What is that? I have Google.I'm with you, Lorrie! It was cool to find Ken McCreless's with such cool jobs!!Thanks for stopping by.
Very well done. I was told a few weeks ago I had been 'googled' by a co-worker, and it was a little (well, a lot) unnerving. I finally googled myself and you're right, there is a lot there. Strange how a search engine can target us so easily. The good thing is there is no mention of me working for the government . . .No mention? Are you sure? Not even as an "undisclosed source?"J/KThank you, Michael for reading and commenting!
Hi Ken,Your article just kick started my day. Great read, and I look forward to more.JDThank you, JD, I am glad you enjoyed it.And, thank you for joining my fan club, it is an honor!
Great Article. Luckily my name is James Bond so unless people look for my stage name (music) or add a place of employment, phone number, or some other connecting information I am generally safe. I have had some persistant friends from the Army be able to find me though.I guess we can never really "hide," anyway. Especially with a name like yours! Thanks for stopping by.
Ken or should I say Mr. McCreless-you crack me up! Cute article-thanks for sharing it with us!Sure, as long as the Mr is pronounced Maah-stuh.Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
Ken, Googling your own name is so much fun. So are you 0014? Twice as cool as Bond?Sir, I can neither confirm nor deny that statement. Thanks for stopping by, Rob. Mucho Appreciado!
